Our fee policy is the same for Telehealth or face to face consultation.

We will adhere to all NSW Health guidelines by maintaining required social distancing and using personal protective equipment such as masks, gowns, gloves and goggles.

Appointments
Please book online above or on Hotdoc website or ring the practice to make an appointment. Appointments are required unless it is an emergency e.g. injury, laceration, chest pain. Please advise the receptionist if you feel the problem is urgent, and every effort will be made to accommodate you. The receptionists are available from 7.45 am to take calls. Please let the receptionist know if you need a long appointment when making the booking Home Visits and Nursing Home Visits can be arranged if necessary for our regular patients.
We Endeavour To Run To Time, however our priority is Quality Patient Care, so we may run late at times for this reason
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please advise if you are unable to attend your appointment. This will allow us to give the appointment to someone else. If a confirmed appointment is missed or cancelled withing 1 hour of the appointment time, a cancellation fee of $24 will be charged.
You can help us run on time by;
- Being aware that your appointment is approximately 15 minutes. If you think you will need more time please make a longer appointment
- Being understanding if the doctor suggests you come back to address remaining issues
- Understanding that a ‘fit in’ appointment is for the urgent conditions on the day and deal only with that one urgent problem
- Our appointment schedule allows for one person to be seen per appointment. If you require More Than One Family Member to be seen you will need to notify the receptionist when booking so that enough time is available
Travel Health:
Travel has become an important part of every individual’s work and leisure life. To accomodate this new trend Alfords Point Medical Practice is happy to provide all its customers with a Travel Medicine Service that offers a one stop travel shop.
In each consultation we advise you of current recommendations for vaccinations based on the destination, travel advice, general tips for travel and current disease alerts. The clinic is Yellow fever Accredited and keeps the vaccine on site . All vaccines and malaria tablets for travel are available at Alfords Point Pharmacy located next door to the practice. Please make an appointment with your doctor to discuss these issues.

Weekdays: 6pm – 8am
Weekends: Noon Saturday to 8am Monday
